The big trak was a toy I lusted after as a kid. You could program it to go into the kitchen have your brother put an apple in it’s dump truck wagon and turn around and bring it back to you.
This came out in 1979 and with infinite money I would make a lifesize big trak out of a 1988 honda civic.
Check out this wonderful take apart of a big trak.

Wowwww… Hello my old friend!
I had the UK version of Big Trak - which was white, not silver-grey - but not the trailer. Big Trak taught me two things, that when distance is measured by number of turns of a wheel of known circumference, accuracy fluctuates with varied floor surfaces, and if you’re brave and careful enough to dismantle something as lovely as this, you must be twice as brave when it comes to putting it back together. Mine’s been in bits in a box since about 1983.
Thanks for the link, Bre. Awesome to see.
